It was time to head back to south Florida to Moroso Motorsports Park in West Palm Beach. On Friday morning April 27th Chris loaded up the trailer and headed south to set up the Embry-Riddle Jet Dragster. I had to stay home for an extra night so that Andrew could play his baseball game on Friday evening. The kids tried, but unfortunately they didn't win the game, but they had fun, so that was good.Crew Chief Everett stopped by early Saturday morning to pick up Nitro, Andrew and myself so that we could make be there when the gates opened. We did have enough time to stop and eat breakfast in Okeechobee. I was looking forward to this weekend, as there was going to be a lot of jet cars performing. 
When we arrived, it is always nice to see some of my fans that come out to see me. Chuck and Chris Foster were also on hand to help crew the car this weekend, which I greatly appreciate as it was Chuck and Ellen's 25th anniversary. We were scheduled to make two passes each day. On Saturday evening the Embry-Riddle Jet Dragster made both laps with no problems. We packed up and headed to the restaurant and was in bed by 12:oo, which is a pleasant treat.
Sunday morning we were up early and back at the track, as we had two more passes to make. We lined up and blasted down the quarter mile both times with no problems. It is so nice to have a race car that just motors down the track, my husband and the students from Embry-Riddle designed and built an awesome car.
We have a couple of weeks off, which we will be able to get caught up on all of the day to day stuff. Keep checking back, as we have a lot of exciting news coming up in May.
